Our plane prepares for us to board.

This is the larger size of plane.   You'll see the other kind as we depart Moorea later on in this tour.

Our bungalow on Moorea was quite a bit more cosmopolitan than the one on Bora-Bora.

Ours is just to the left of center.

Sunset....  And the show is about to begin at the Tiki-Tiki (or Taku-Taku) Village.
With the sunset glorious in the background, the drummers drum!
The underground oven is opened ....
... and dinner (the pig and all the trimmings) is ready to be served.

Mr. Pig is front-and-center.  If you have trouble finding him, click the image.

Everyone must learn the Tahitian dance.

Here Alicia and Gosia (next to Alicia) take their turn learning.

Who is Gosia?  She and her husband Daryl are on their honeymoon from Mountain View.  Nice couple.

The dancing is quite entertaining ... and quite energetic!
You've seen fire in Tahitian dancing.  This version is wonderful.
Lots and lots of fire -- and a fast-paced rhythm as well.

More and more ....

... and more fire!
... and more fire!
The headdresses are particularly impressive.  Particularly after all of that energetic dancing.
Here we are among the 'natives'.

Yummy dinner and delightful show!  We don't wanna go home.

Alicia, Daryl and Gosia.
Diving off of Moorea, the 'Stingrays' were quite affectionate little puppy-dogs!

They would nuzzle your ankles (in 1-foot water) looking for food -- often 2 or 3 at a time.
