We named these fish 'thugfish' because of the way they fought over a fragment of stale bread.

We don't know what they are properly called, but 'thugfish' is definitely appropriate.

Another peaceful morning in the glorious South Pacific.

Bora-Bora is very friendly, don't you think?

I can't find a shred of disappointment in this face.

Can you?

A typical look at Bora-Bora from the lagoon.
We are off to go shark feeding.

'What's-his-name' in the front of the boat is about to set anchor.

I'm about to go feed the sharks!

(... tell me ... what do you plan to feed them? ... )

So this is how you catch a bird (not a seagull -- seagulls aren't here).

So... how far do you think he can throw the tiny thing?

Riding around the Bora-Bora lagoon.
Overwater bungalows are quite popular.

This is another resort -- not ours.

Is there an 'unhappy' bone in this body?

I don't think so....

The two of us on Bora-Bora.
Fresh pineapple (we watched it get sliced).

Covered with fresh coconut (we watched it get opened and shredded).

Serves:  An entire boatload..

Delicious.

In the lagoon in Bora-Bora.

(The lagoon extends entirely around the island.  It is easy to find many spots such as this.)

Oh, darn.  She's happy again!
