Arrival in the international airport at Papeete.
The Bora-Bora airport is even more informal than Papeete.
The launch takes you from the airport to the main island.
One happy Wahine freshly arrived on Bora-Bora.
The chandelier in the hotel lobby.
Stressed out on the beach.  The resort is just behind Alicia, and our overwater bungalow is to the left.
Taking a breakfast-in-bed meal to one of the overwater bungalows.

Our bungalow is straight ahead.  Sadly, the meal they are delivering is not for us.

We find our bed covered with wonderful (and huge!) hibiscus blossoms.
Alicia on the deck out to our overwater bungalow.
I'm on the same deck, overlooking the "fish pond".

The water here is about 4 feet deep, and is perfect bathtub-temperature.

A Fan Palm makes a wonderful headdress.

Reminds one of Princess Amadela in Star Wars, Episode 1, doesn't it?

Cheers!
Our first night was a Seafood Buffet (wonderful -- they only served all-you-can-eat lobster a half-lobster at a time).

And a show... let's watch the dancing!

The Tahitian dancing is awesome and very interesting.
Our bungalow had a glass-top coffee table.  Remove the top (or just look through it), and this is what you see.

Now, throw a stale bread-roll from last night's dinner, and really watch the action!
